Short list of qualities these DVD’s hold:

• Colorful
• Cute
• Interactive
• Quality life lessons
• Great values
• “No Worry” watch
• Keeps kids attention

If you’ve ever seen the Hermie movies before, this one is just like the other installments. It just happens to be a great buy since it is a combo pack! I really enjoy the Hermie movies, as do both of my daughters. The great thing about this pack is its’ relevancy to my children’s current growth and learning needs.

Milo, the Mantis Who Wouldn’t Pray, approaches the subject of prayer and talking to God. This has helped reinforce what we have been teaching our children. It has really helped encourage them to talk to God about anything, whether thanking God, praising God, sending request for our needs and worries or for comfort when we are scared.

Buzby and the Grumblebees discusses behaving! This is something every child struggles with. This simple and interactive story helps explain the importance of behaving in a way kids can understand.

Hailey & Bailey’s Silly fight talks about getting along, another important topic for young children who are learning how to work and interact with others who may have different personalities. Its simple lesion show’s how getting along and working together makes things easier, smoother and more fun!

Overall the characters of the Hermie series are great! Children love bugs, flowers, and nature in general. The DVD’s are cute and colorful. The characters provoke laughter as some of the situations they get themselves into are silly and funny. I would recommend this bug collection to friends and family with children ages 2-6 years of age. It’s a great set to have in your collection.
